Ortiz & Batis, P.C. an established San Antonio Insurance Defense Firm, is currently seeking an experienced Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join our team. The successful applicant will need a cool, calm, professional demeanor in a high-pressure, fast-paced, ever-changing work environment.
Requirements include:
* 3+ years experience as an Insurance Defense Paralegal
* Familiar with Federal and State Court practices, including electronic filings
* Proficient in Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, and Excel
* Knowledge of drafting and reviewing of legal documents
* Ability to prioritize and multitask
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
* Deadline and detail-oriented
* Excellent teamwork ability.
